Is Prom really that early at some places? I thought it was at the end of the school year, which would be like 9 months from now.
 
who knows how long it could last.. stop hypothosizing (sp, i know) and just ask her to hang out and see where it goes from there. dont think so far a head. if you like her, have a go and see what becomes of it!
