112k for gaming?

I was browsing ISDN ISP's the other day since cable/dsl isn't available here, and one of the ISDN providers also has 112k connections available, for a much better price. I'm on 56k right now, so speedwise anything is better. But what would lag be like in games? As it is I tend to be decently laggy if I find the fastest/closest servers to connect to...would 112k still be laggy? If any of you have used it what are the typical connection speeds that you get?

i'd say you'd have lag but still not be at the point where its a true gaming environment. write a letter/email to your cable provider/phone company to inquire about DSL/cable modem service

but thats my .02

I can pull about 20-60ms pings with 100-120 being "slow" on my cable or dsl.

When I was using dual channel ISDN I would get about 60-80ms pings with 120-150 being "slow".

Your downloads will be the suck but because you are pretty much digital from your PCI bus all the way to the central office you can get halfway decent pings out of ISDN. Be sure you are using a good INTERNAL terminal adapter though. A lot of the external ones really add to your latency plus they often go through your serial port which typically doesn't have a fast enought UART to keep up with the TA.
