The title is a little odd?
Troops Kill 11 Saddam Protesters in Firefight

BAGHDAD, Iraq ? U.S. troops killed 11 attackers after being ambushed in a town north of Baghdad, the military said Tuesday, and hundreds of Iraqis marched in pro-Saddam Hussein demonstrations in several cities.

I particularly liked this one...I'm sure there were Iraqi police and soldiers also shouting "pwned"

In Tikrit, about 700 people rallied in the center of town Monday chanting "Saddam is in our hearts, Saddam is in our blood." U.S. soldiers and Iraqi policemen yelled back: "Saddam is in our jail."

I would doubt the veracity of that "Saddam is in our jail story". I don't think US troops would trade words with a crowd like that.

Wouldn't or shouldn't? If we're going to humiliate the Iraqi people by stuffing their helplessness down their throat, we will end up managing another Palistine like the Israelis.
