Hello ,
im using a 10meter cable to connect the phone cable to my adsl ..
i have 80-90 ping in UK , Ger , France servers ...
Does it effect my ping ? will i get better ping with smaller one ?
thanks

I don't think it would effect it anymore than the 3000 meters of copper between you and the phone office.

Most offen ping is related to the ISP. Highly variable pings can be a bad connection.

Not even a little bit, No.

If the cable was passed through an electrically noisy environment, that could introduce some errors, which could conceivably cause retransmisssions (which would appear as increased latency).

Bring up WireShark and take a look at the traffic between that host and something out on the net you think is taking too long.
