10lb teddy bears for children to combat obesity problem?

"Researchers at Indiana State University in Terre Haute tried a small experiment to test the effects of having kids play with heavier toys. They found that 10 children ages 6 to 8 burned more calories and had higher heart and breathing rates when they moved 3-pound toy blocks instead of unweighted blocks."

yeah, it may reduce the # of fat kids, but it will increase the # of kids w/bad back problems.

This is just putting a Band-Aid on the problem. It seems like 90% of obesity in children is the parents' fault so parents can now just buy this thing and say, "Look, I did all that I could, I even bought this special toy" and therefore prove the lack of responsibility.

omg...reading stuff like that makes me feel dumber....wtf are parents thinking????!?! STOP OVERFEEDING YOUR CHILDREN!!!!! geezus man....

btw i released a new diet today. I don't htink it'll be popular though, I call it "EXCERCISE!!" (hrm...did i get the spelling right? if it's spelled wrong, it's meant to look cool)

Instead of making up sh!t to cut the fat on the little fat asses, how about people come up w/ a program to teach the parents to stop feeding their children like fat little piggies?
