Is this real? There has got to be problems with this! Give me some feedback people, has anything bad happened with these, or is this just a gimmick or what?

Not really. You can get a smaller 15k rpm drive, but not cheaply...

Hell... If you got the $$$, get an Ultra320 SCSI RAID controller with a ton of cache, and make a RAID array out of a few 15k RPM drives. Now THAT is fast.

Since you feel the need to constantly act like an ass...I think 3 of these in a RAID would blow that 30gb 10k rpm out of the water:

Fujitsu 15k rpm 36gb

And I would still have some money left over for the Ultra 320 controller.

Find me a good raid card for that little. :p

You're still missing quite a few gigabytes...

EDIT: That is a good drive though, and I'd pick'em up in a heart beat if I were looking for scsi drives right now.

EDIT2: Close, if not the right amount. But it's only single channel. ew. :p

Nope, 300. If it said 30 I would have laughed and went away. :p

That's why I said what I said. I am having so many issues with my new PC that I think I need to just quit reading other threads...lol
