Take the coupon that someone else posted to your local B&M Office Depot.

http://forums.anandtech.com/message...d=859174&highlight_key=y&keyword1=$20 off $50

There is an unadvertised "advertised" special for a $20 off coupon $149.99 - 20. (Should be on the shelf, if you don't see it ask about it!) Then after that whip out the printed coupon and they'll type it in and it works! 129.99 - 20 = $109.99!

It's a good printer, especially at that price. Then just go to another store (or leave and come back) to get all the accessories for it with the other coupons you print out. =)

The in-store coupon is good from 9/2 - 9/16 and the one at the link ends this sunday! Hurry!

Good luck if you can get it to work. I'm curious if OD will let you combine the coupons?

I did it last night. I stumbled upon it. They typed them both in the computer (which should be the thing that checks) and it rang up perfect. $118 after tax.

Never seen a place where you could "type in" a competitors coupon; usually have to go through phone sales at best.

LOL. The way it looks lately, it seem that it is time for AT to start a new forum.

Wishful Thinking Hot Deal.

The best I like is when an associate at Staples, OD, BB or whatever in where ever US puts by a mistake some thing on the final sale table, and it becomes a National Hot Deal.

That should work if you can find the hp coupon for that printer at OD. There's nothing here about another vendor's coupon. The $20 off $50 coupon is for OD. I used my second one 2nite to get a 2-pack HP ink cartridges for $35 out the store.

Thanks for the post. I don't need another printer right now, but will pass it on.

Buz 2b,
He didn't say either coupon was from a competitor, they were both Office Depot coupons. He was refering to a post about a printable $20 Off OD coupon. That printable coupon, combined with the instore coupon equals $40 off. That is a great price for the 5500!!!
