oops wrong forum, moved to Software

I was frustrated with having to run Ad-aware and Spybot regularly. But I had to because when too much adware would build up on my system I would notice a slowdown while gaming.
I just found this downloadable list of ad agencies that is made to merge into your registry in order to block adware. It puts the list in Restricted Sites in Internet Explorer so that the sites who dish out the bad cookies can't give them to you. It works too. But only for Internet Explorer. I don't get any adware anymore.

Thanks for the advice, pelikan, I'll check it out sometime. An FYI though, this should really be in Software or OT, since it isn't hardware related. I don't know how much the mods will like it.:Q
