It is going to be a while before I can drop that kind of change on a TV.

First, I'm going to pick up one of the current model Samsung DLPs once these new ones start hitting stores and the existing sets fall in price.

I'd wait till they have ones that accept 1080p in. Sure, it's not a huge deal and 1080i converts very well, but if I'm dropping that money on a 1080p set, I'd like to be able to send a true 1080p signal to it (not that many, if anything, can output in 1080p but I'm guessing those are coming in the next few years).
