Yes, your fonts will be smaller, but you can adust that. That's a sweet deal.

That monitor has a 0.248mm pixel pitch, which is the smallest I've seen (not that I've looked at *tons* of monitors, but I've been "window" shopping for a few months and have read up on _dozens_ of monitors). Unless you sit really close to your monitor things are going to be pretty small on this thing...

I wouldn't upgrade for the sake of 2".

IMO you should go straight to a 42" HDTV. Just wait and save up a bit. Then you'll have 2 displays as well. Maybe I should take a photo of my setup. I have a 24" LCD mounted on the side wall of my living room at the end of the couch. Then I have my HDTV about 12' in front of the couch on an adjacent wall. It's awesome. My wife can watch TV while I work on the computer, or vice versa.

I have both displays wired to my PC via some fairly long cables.
