1080 Xtreme - one fan question.

Hello all. So i bought Gigabyte 1080 Xtreme. During Unigine Heaven for 4 minutes one of the fan was not working. After 4 minutes i realize that cable sata from ssd was blocking the fan. Anyway temp was fine. Nothing happened?Now all 3 fans are working like it should.

I don't think you can really damage a computer fan by blocking it like you can with some big electric motors.

No, it will throttle to protect itself if it gets too hot. It will slow it's clock speed to keep cool.

But i dont damage fan motor?
