1080 Ti owner needs advice on FSR or LLFG

Per title... 90 percent of what I'll be doing is flight simulation via FS2020, DCS, and IL-2 series. What is the better option to extending the life of this card with better frame rates and could at least 50 percent higher FPS be a reasonable expectation at 1080 or 1440?

Thoughts?

Seems pretty simple to just choose the settings and play, to see if the FPS is high enough to suit you, though I try to avoid using other than the monitor's native resolution to avoid blurriness.

Thanks for the response. Was hoping someone knew of some success stories one way or another. Asked AI and did standard searches and the answers have been very gray and not terribly helpful in plotting a path ahead that doesn't include just trying them both. I typically research, gather data, then down-select a path ahead that makes sense in that context.

What I wouldn't do for a matrix of data using the same card/PC with both FSR and LLFG and FPS and qualitative data regarding image quality, etc across a bunch of games/sims. Or at least some anecdotes from those with 1080Tis.
