1060 or 780

I recently ordered a GTX 1060 3GB, but found out that I won't receive it for up to 1 1/2 months. So I purchased a used GTX 780 SC. The plan is to sell one, after I get the 1060. My question is which one should I keep and which one should I sell?

Thanks guys, I was just wondering. Since I heard mixes reviews. Like the 780 has higher bits, dual fan cooler, and it is factory over clocked.

The 1060 only has one fan, lower bits, but better profromance overall. Plus it can probably sell for much more than the used 780, but I'm leaning towards keeping the 1060.

Higher ...bits? Whatever that means, its irrelevant. 780 is slower and older. There's no debate here... Sell the 780

The 1060 is the better card in literally every performance metric that matters. It's a no brainer, if you're going to keep one, keep the 1060.

1060 is better. It should also OC nicely, even with a lesser cooler.

Why is the 1060 taking 6 weeks to arrive?

I have no idea. I didn't notice it, until I ordered it. On the eBay Mobile app, it only mentioned how long it will take in the description. So I had to click on the description to see it. On the main page all it show was free shipping, but no estimation.

Tried to cancel it, but the seller says he doesn't do returns, cancellation etc. Contact eBay, but they said they can't do anything about it. I think anyone should be able to cancel an order, if it has not been ship out. Funny, because a few days ago, it was mark as shipped, but then no tracking.

Sounds fishy, is it coming from china or something? 6 weeks is a long time regardless. Did you use paypal? You might be able to cancel through them if you don't get it within reasonable time.

Well a few days ago, I got a tracking number from the seller, through email, and from PayPal. Today I was supposed to receive the package. Somehow while tracking it, it indicates that it had already been shipped, and received.

I was home, but no package came my way. Called USPS and they told me that it was delivered to a different address. Try to contact the seller, but he wasn't a eBay member anymore. So then I contact eBay. eBay said they will give me a full refund within 24-48 hours.

I can't believe I got screwed. This is the first time this had ever happened to me. Found out that I wasn't the only one who got scammed.

I might end up getting the MSI 1060 Armor OCV1 6G from Amazon for $159.

Don't buy a GTX780... If you want a used card, try a second-hand R9 290X(Ask seller if he ever did Minning with the card, if yes then cancel the deal). But in your place i would try to get your money back and buy the 1060 from Newegg, or hold the line with a used GTX950 until your 1060 don't arrives.
