Here it rains far more in the summer than the winter... although even in the summer you're not looking at much more than an inch or two.

it stopped now, but may come back. funny thing is that the humidity is only like 15% and the dew pt is 45F, just doesn't add up

It rains almost every day during the summer in South Florida. Of course the rain doesn't last all day like rain storms do up north.
 
I'm going back home to Dubai in the middle east and I''ll tell you this.. nothing is worse than 120F with 90-95% humidity!!!!! Your better off with the 100F and rain...

if it was 120F and 95% humidity, i wouldn't go back....i know what 120F and 5%humidity feels like and it was hell, i can't imagine 95% humidity
 
Yowza...100 and rain? That's gotta be like a sauna. Almost as bad as Florida or the other Gulf states on a scorching day...
