1024 ddr ram,How much of a performance upgrade

I'm buying another stick of ocz premiere 512 3200. Will it help my machine at all ?,I'm hoping so as my rig is a bit outdated,but can play many games with it.,just a question

I'm not sure about what your system is and that does matter. I think you will see a big diference though from 512 to 1024 it usually has a signifigant performance increase in my experience.
 
512->1024 is often a significant improvement these days, but in your case it's only going to be so-so, since with a slower system like that, you aren't going to be pushing your RAM as hard with high-res textures and other memory-eating features. If you play any MMO's, this is a no-brainer, otherwise your video card may be holding back other gains.
 
If you already have 1 gig and want to go up to 1.5 gigs though, then it's a waste of $.

Otherwise it's good. But maybe upgrading to 6800nu, 6600GT or a new A64 setup and x800xl pcie is a good option if you got money.
 
1gb should be a decent upgrade from 512mb, but if you're gaming, it won't do much, because that graphics card is holding you back.
