Anyone watching? I had some work to do in the office today and heard the planes doing the flyovers.
TV:
TSN 6 pm ET in Canada
ESPN3 6pm ET in the US
I went out with some friends Friday night who flew into town for Grey Cup and we had a blast. I'm not going to the game, but I'll be watching from a nearby pub.
I'm a little pissed the Lions didn't make it in, especially when they were favoured to win, but at least now I can enjoy the game without the threat of possibly watching my team lose.
I don't know much about what happens in the host city around the Superbowl, but for Grey Cup, a few blocks around the stadium is typically closed off for the week before the game, and it's just a big party. All the teams have pavilions and the cheerleaders and some players are there.
Spirit of Edmonton, Riderville, Lions' den... And the Calgary Stampeders do the horse running through the hotel thing.
Great times
