ResellerRating of 5.83 - Seems a lot of unhappy people with shop4tech.com lately...

These discs have the media code TYG01 (4x by default, 8x burnable with some custom firmwares).

At least 1 user over on the forums at www.cdfreaks.com has reported success with these discs:

I personally would not buy from this store based on their resellerrating and also to the fact that there are much better TY suppliers out there, like www.rima.com

Thanks for the updated code, I used xpbargains10 to get 10% discount, not sure if it still works. I received a 100 pack this week from them, took 3 days from CA to east coast. Good DVD-Rs, no coasters so far. More info in this thread: Link

One small complaint, the picture on their site shows them on a spindle and product description states on a spindle, but then under Features says with No Stacking Ring. Discs came with no spindle.

I've bought A LOT from shop4tech in the last 4 months, well over 5k worth of products. Have not had a single problem, except for some crap quality generic cd's. Probably best to stay away from that stuff anyway.

These DVD-R's are good, as well as the seller.

I personally don't even consider reseller ratings. Who actually rates a company when they do well? Everybody rates when they do bad. Use common sense when choosing a retailer.

So can we trust shop4tech or not? I've seen mostly positive posts about them on FW and I was considering purchasing these discs before this thread was made. Supposedly these discs will burn flawlessly at 8X on certain drives.
