Just got back from BB.
Went to the service desk and got 2 100pk dvd+r for 34.99 using b1g1f coupon
These were the 8x ones made in Japan. They rang up same price as the taiwan 4x sitting right nest to them.
All they had in dvd-r was the ones made in Taiwan so I passed on those.
Figured while I was there ,I went ahead and got the Cyberhome dvd player pricematched to website @ 24.99 and also the 10.00 rebate printed out.So hopefully that'll be $15.00 AR if the rebate goes through.

Also look through the top of the box on the dvd themselves. Its clearly printed on the dvd Made in Japan or Made in Taiwan. Tried to do the deal at another BB today and got shot down.
I'm surprised anyone got the CC coupon to work at BB, when I checked the CC website they didn't even list FUJI as one of the brands they sell. Also look through the top of the box on the dvd themselves. I haven't opened up my 50pk yet to check the condition, waiting to see of something better goes on sale on BF. One thing I noticed is the TY 50pk didn't have the little spacer at the top of the spindle that keeps the discs from shifting around alot during shipping. That could be why some people reported damaged discs.whats the deal with the ppl who had scuffed 50pk spindles?
I've gotten the same garbage from BB, OM, and Staples. Funny how you can order the same items, with the same SKU, for pickup at a store, or return the items at a B&M store, and even look up the B&M weekly sales flyers on their web site - but yet, "they aren't the same company". Riiiight. The similarity of the corporate "trade dress" as applied to both the web site and the store are simply coincedental. Riiiight.Originally posted by: ScrapSilicon
Web order limits 1 spindle. Anyway was going by BB so hauled webpage printout of $34.99 and was shotdown but not out(usual bullshizz about BB and BB.com being separate..puhleasse)

They may report their internal financial performance differently, and may have slightly different sales (IF they are marked specifically, special price only valid 'in-store' or 'online'), but that doesn't make them "not the same store", from the customer's perspective, and IMHO, is simple flat-out fraudulent misrepresentation. I honestly hope the FTC cracks down bigtime on that practice, which is usually used as an easy-out excuse for not complying with advertised prices for goods offered for sale.
And yet - BB (B&M) was forced to print out the PM policy info for me, when I asked, off of their web site, because they had nothing in writing to give to a customer. Yet they claim that they aren't the same company, and steadfastly refuse to PM even their own online "unit". Go figure.
