100k mile maintenance

I've had my G35 since new in Sept. '05 and finally crossed 100k miles Thanksgiving weekend. I'd say 90k of those miles were city driving.

What maintenance items overall, and suspension parts more specifically, should I think about having checked and/or replaced?

Probably, haha. I would go through the maintenance schedule and see if anything comes up at odd intervals, i.e. every 60k or 90k miles. It looks like it's primarily an alternating schedule 1/2 system, which is pretty simple.

Speaking to suspension parts- front lower and upper control arm bushings on those are pretty prone to tearing. You'd probably notice a small clunk if you tapped the brakes quickly.

If you plan on keeping it for a while, struts on any 100k mile 2005 are long past due.

Time as well as miles takes a toll on parts....check and replace if not done in the last couple of years.
...anything "rubber" (hoses, belts, bushings, mounts, gaskets) should be checked and replaced as needed...
...a good cleaning of the throttle body would be good.
...spark plugs (have a typical 100-120k life), are coming due for a replacement ....don't remove to just "check"...when pulled, replace.
...fluids should be changed...drained and filled, not flushed....coolant, tranny, brake, PS fluids.

....and enjoy the next 100k miles.

Thanks for all the tips.

I've not touched the suspension since I got it so I guess I need to have the shocks and struts tested and the bushing replaced. I probably also need the belts checked, its been over 30k since they were replaced last.

I've been changing the oil, coolant, and brake fluid regularly but haven't done the PS fluid in a while. I've also had the transmission fluid and rear diff oil changed every 30k miles and the spark plugs were changed at 90k so I assume those are ok.
