100gb drive detects as 32gb

I just got a new 100gb Western Digital hard drive. My less-than-six-months-old Iwill KA266-R motherboard detects it as 32gb. Oddly enough, it detects my older 40gb drive correctly as 40gb. Both of these drives are on one channel on the RAID IDE channels (RAID isn't configured in any way, I'm just using them as extra IDE channels.) I have a 20gb system drive on the regular IDE channel. Any ideas on this?

unplug the raid card, and hook up the 100 gigger into ure mobo directly to see if in fact it is a raid card issue. btw what OS do u use?

also, how did u format the drive? fdisk has issues formatting/reporting size on drives that large. try to have win2k or winxp if u have them, or PQ magic if u have it, to format the drive when it is on the mobo, then put it back on the raid card.
