My C0 runs at 60C all 4 cores at 3.8ghz @ 1.41v. You need to reseat your heatsink.
Sorry but i found that hard to believe, maybe...if your using some high end cooler D14 or Silver Arrow.

You cannot compare different generations of processors' operating temps. There is no point.
The original poster's temps still are high though, but his voltage is a bit high too. I have a similar set up with an i7 930, same cooler, but I am using 1.24V vs his 1.35V and my idle temps are in the 40's and my max temp is in the low 70's. However, again, the extra voltage will really raise the temp.

Well, have you checked dust within the heatsink between the fins?Guys,
I recently decided to get a new CPU cooler and take my 920 upto 3.6Ghz. I picked up the 212+, second fan (push/pull)and Artic silver 5. Long story short I am hitting over 100c during the RealTemp (prime95) test. This can't be right? Even at stock 2.6Ghz I sit at 41-42c with an ambient temp of 70F.
