1005 lb. bench press, anyone?

Honestly, while he's a monster and that is an amazing accomplishment, I could not live with myself losing that much mobility and flexibility.

1. I wouldn't even be able to spot him
2. He moved the bar all of 6 inches cause (i) his body is so thick and (ii) his arms are so short
3. Still crazy nonetheless
4. No way I'd want to be like that

some guys in the super-heavyweight (>308 lbs. bodyweight) category
look like that; most others don't.

Although the man looks like a monster and I'm sure he is capable of monstrous bench presses, he did not lift 1005 pounds by himself.

Without that shirt, he would not be able to get anywhere close.

Before you say he is wearing it for safety (I'm sure that is part of it), it is clear the shirt provides a lot more than safety. Mendelson is the one who impresses me lifting 715 pounds without any special shirt.

C'mon... that guy + pitbull + steel cage = that guy getting owned.
What's he gonna do? Benchpress the dog?

Actually, I can't say definitely for that guy, but for many bodybuilding types I know, they may have the strength, but at the sacrifice of speed and flexibility.
