Keep in mind that cookie dough has raw eggs in it and as such you are subjecting yourself to salmonella poisoning. You are probably better off w/ the crack.

Oh yes, they're selling salmonella laden ice cream in stores all over. There's such a thing as egg substitute, you know. Which is why the cookie dough doesn't taste exactly like cookie dough you make yourself.

Right, because regular ice cream doesn't have egg in it either.

And I'm sure they actually use all-natural ingredients, and not "preserved egg product"

That being said, still tastes damn good. 😀

During the holidays there is Eggnog Icecream.

I think some icecreams use raw egg though, Ben and Jerry's comes to mind (ICBWrong). Not all do. If you make it yourself, you don't need egg.

Anyway, I've never had a problem with cookie dough icecream or any icecream, I was just joking. Figured I'd scare a few folks away from the cookie dough, but, You folks are hooked.
 
All I eat is bryers all natural mint choc chip or rocky road...All that other stuff is too rich or me.
 
The best ice cream EVAR is as follows:

- Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough Ice Cream bars covered in chocolate. Yum! Yum! 🙂
