Note the HUGE tires on the front and the itty bitty ones on the rear. And the weight of the body - 35 lbs!!!

That's not a Focus. The only thing that resembles the Focus is the name. Other than that, that car is badass. Just give it a better name and you're all set. That's tight! Looks a little like a Viper front end too! Whoa! :D

Besides for the turbo does anyone else what could account for 800hp? The exhaust and internal engine work could bring it up a 100hp or so, but I am not seeing anything else. I wonder how much boost they are running:confused:

Well, seeing it's at an angle and that the tires are covered, I doubt they're smaller, definitly not "itty bitty"...

28x12x15 GoodYear Eagle Slicks (front)
24x5x15 GoodYear Eagle Slicks (rear)

Those are pretty small tires there on the rear. Especially compared to the front.

JACKHAMMER, probably huge amounts of boost. Esslinger does pretty good head work, but I don't think they're that good.. Even if they started with a 170HP SVT Focus engine and doubled the output with motor mods, still talking 600HP worth of turbo powa!

I thought Honda was the leader in Specific Output (HP/L), but 500HP per Liter of engine displacement is outrageous.

Mwilding, we're talking about forced induction here, so that kinda changes things. And for the people who say "that's not even a Focus". I don't think anyone's trying to debate that it is :)

mwilding: Top Fuel Dragsters typically make something along the lines of 700HP per liter. But like this car, they have to be rebuilt every 15 seconds of run time :)

This car is in no way any resemblance to stock nor is the engine stock except for the basic architecture. The block is probably filled, decked, and otherwise reinforced, the cumbustion chambers are probably quite small and it most likely runs on nitromethane
