They're giving 1000 minutes of free long distance to the first 10,000 people. I have signed up and made some test calls and it works. It doesn't matter what area code you put in (but it has to be one in the dropdown box to work) when you sign up. Then tell them what number you're at and where you want your calls forwarded to. NOW you are ready to make some calls! Log in and tell them what number you're at at the top of the site. Then type in the number you want to call. Instantly, your phone will ring. After a very short pause, you will hear the phone ringing at the number you're calling! It places the call for you and you're talking to a friend or family member for free on the phone.

1) This was posted on FatWallet more than two days ago.

2) If you read the FatWallet thread, you would know how you can use this service just like a calling card, without the need for a computer and those double-phone-ringing-acrobatics.

Then I guess it's a good thing that I gave you a pointer to a source which will teach you how you can use this service just like a calling card, without the need for a computer and those double-phone-ringing-acrobatics.

Wagner, There is no need to be rude you little $hit! Keep your mouth shut if you don't have something productive to say! If you do have something productive to say, keep it clean and don't make other people feel bad.

Wagner, it would be helpful if you gave us a link to the fatwallet discussion, as you clearly recall sesing it there.

I'm sorry Wagner, I'll make sure to check FatWallet and all the other deal sites to make sure this is new and fresh before I share a deal with you folks. Thank you for showing me the error of my ways. It won't happen again. Geez.

TheHuntress,

My original post was meant to provide complementary information to your post, rather than trying to negate the net worth of your original post. I thought people would appreciate the additional information. I'm sorry to see that your inferority complex forces you to see my contribution as a personal attack, which it is not.

To those who want a direct link, I'm sorry, but I'm too damn lazy. Just go to FatWallet, search for "long distance", and it should pop right up.

Jugernot,

For the record, I believe I said something productive, by providing additional, useful information, or a pointer thereto, on the deal currently being discussed. I believe I have kept it clean, because I have not discussed sexual matters, nor used cuss words, nor done anything else that in my opinion could be construed as inappropriate. Finally, my intentions were not to make anyone feel bad, and I am surprised to see that anyone at all feels bad when someone provides further information on a deal.

In great contrast to this, you had absolutely nothing productive to say in this thread. Certainly nothing whatsoever pertaining to the deal under discussion. I guess it is open to debate whether insulting me is a productive thing to do. (I would say no, but then again I would be biased.) You have certainly not kept it clean, because you used the word $hit, which is pretty dirty. Finally, you have attempted to make me feel bad by calling me "a little $hit". I must congratulate you on your attempt to make me feel bad, although it did not work.

In conclusion, you accuse me of saying nonproductive things, not keeping it clean, and making people feel bad. I have done none of these three things, at least not in this thread. With a single post, you have managed to do (or attempt to do) all of these three things.

Just out of curiosity, Jugernot, do you contradict yourself much?

EDIT: Fixed typo's.

I don't see a reason why this cannot thread cannot be started here JUST because it's on FatWallet. It's good to see it on here if it's not on here already.

no wagner, you didn't say anything productive...the tone of your post sounded like it was blaming thehuntress for not reading posts at fatwallet. if you've said something like "thanks for deal, see this thread at fatwallet for more info" then that would be productive and helpful. any idiot can see through your transparent blaming (in this case, you were implying thehuntress HAVE to read posts at FW). next time, shut up...ppl are trying to help, don't give them any of your nonsense.

EDIT: btw, despite your false claims of providing a "productive" reply, most ppl here have seen your reply as rude remarks so don't try to work your way out of this one. and IF, which I highly doubt, you were 100% trying to be sincere and helpful, then at least post in a manner that doesn't have a harsh tone.

thehuntress, thanks for the link...but unfortunately, my area code isn't listed :(

EmperorNero,

I suggest you, TheHuntress and Jugernot get together and spend some time hurling pebbles at innocent pigeons to ease your inner frustrations, whatever their cause. In the meanwhile the rest of us will be looking for deals.

wagner,

and I suggest you go to a doctor so he can surgically remove the thick metal rod that's so far up your ass.

for the last time, thehuntress was informing the board of a great deal, do not ruin it by idiotically demanding she go read the post at FW. and I'm tired of this petty argument - next time if you can't contribute anything to this forum, then at least leave others alone so they can and dont' chatise them for not reading other forum's posts.

I also signed up and it seems the limit is reached (10,000 people is a LOT)

We have reached our Beta area code and toll free number limit, or do not currently serve the area you requested. You can select another area code from the service areas menu or contact customer care at 1-800-REACH ME or customercare@me.net with your name, phone number and prefered area code to be added to our waiting list.

That also means they don't serve Canada ;)

10,000 1-800 numbers is a lot of 1-800 numbers to support financially. They're basically paying for a minimum of 10,000,000 minutes worth of 1-800 talktime. Probably much more than that, since they have to pay for all the time you're using while you navigate around the menus, punch in your PIN, and so on.

Unless you use TheHuntress' suggested (idiotic) method, which ties you up to your computer. Then again, if you want to be tied up to your computer while making phone calls, why don't you use dialpad.
