$1000 Design/Multimedia First Time Build - Please Help!

I am putting together a build for light graphic design (mostly 2D drawings on tablet, using PS/Illustrator/Paint Tool SAI) and media (watching HD movies), as well as some general workstation usage (MS Office, some stats softwares e.g. JMP).

This is my first build so I understand there may be gross errors in what I've put together. I would very much appreciate specific feedback on how to improve (e.g. replace which part with which model) and the reasons why. Many thanks in advance!

What you have looks pretty decent to me. The only change that I'd make is to swap the 840 Pro for the normal 840 (-$40). You won't notice a difference in performance, and that same some money that you can use on a case with better thermals and acoustics like the Corsair 200R.
