So I joined the TeAm on Jan 3rd. Had some computer issues so was not crucnhing for a while. Well when I get home tonight to "dump" my cache, I will be over 100! Is that pretty good time? I know that I am kinda excited about it. 😀

Anyway I do have a question. I would like to get an accurate benchmark of my computer alone. I have 3 crunching right now. I read someone say that you could start a seti account and do a bunch of WU's only to that one, then when done you could transfer those WU's to your main account. Is that possible? If so, how would I go about doing that. My test account would of course be under the TeAm as well!

And, for your question, search this forum for SETI Benchmark. There's a way to stop the sending the of the WU so you can check the CPU time and it uses the same WU so you can accurately gauge the time.

Thanks everyone. I did a search for Seti Benchmark and came up with nothing. I'll try a Google search. Thanks!

To answer your question only slightly, there's a variation in WUs that doesn't lend itself to benchmarking in the short run. I think someone has a "reference" work unit suitable for benchmarking, but I can't recall who/where. If there's no response, post a separate topic asking abount "benchmark" work units.

AHHHHH POOOOP!!! I just uploaded 18 WU's from my daughters computer and I forgot to put in OK's proxy info. Dang it. Oh well, at least it still counts for the TeAm! Just messes up my stats a bit.
