I have $100 to spend on a speaker set. I play mostly strategy games and sometime UT, Medal of Honor etc and listen to a lot of music and watch dvds. I am buying this system more for music and watching dvds. Please advise which system to buy.

Thanks

I have the Logitech Z-640's. I bought them for about $70 a few months ago. They are good. Some complain of hissing, but i dont notice any problems. Im not sure how low the Z-680s are as i cant check due to being pretty busy.

i own the z640's myself, they are great entry level 5.1 speakers, my only complaint is they do not have real good high range on the sattelites.

logitech has a newr set that is 5.1 or 6.1 and sound better in the high range while still having the great bass of the z640's

No. I cant think of 1 set of computer speakers that comes with speaker stands.....

You could also check out Creative Inspire T5400, and Altec Lansing VS3151.

Or

Do you absolutely need 5.1 speakers? Logitech Z-2200 are great for $118

and if you can step up to $140, Logitech Z-5300 are amazing.

I've got the creative T-5400s and they are AMAZING, you can get those for less than $100 too, I saw them at Compusa for $70 not too long ago. The subwoofer is very nice.
