I have 200 of these burnt maybe 50 and they do not burn at true 32x speed it takes more time that it should ..
They burn at 24x or maybe KingPro mis labled the first 100 I open but nice thick quality if you can live with the slower speed..

rarebear: Are these true silver at the bottom? I mean do they look like the music CD's you buy in the stores? Or is it a bit off in the silver color so that you know it's a CDR. Thanks in advance for your answer. :)

I saw these a while ago and wasn't sure if they really were silver/silver. If they are, then I'll definitely be buying some.

These are not silver on the bottom - they are a very lite green. I have some and they are having lots of problems. They'll burn at 40x on my 40x burner but they will only burn at 8x on my 16x NEC burner. I've put them in other machines at work as well and some cannot read the CDs while others can read the same CDs.

I should have waited for 7lords post before I got ripped off by Newegg!
oh well my first bad purchase from them.
oh BTW if you rememeber the Dynan CD's (I got them like a year or two ago from hot deal forum for like free) the bottom look like those.

I have searched around for a while and have found this site to have about the best prices on Mitsui Gold on Gold media. There may be some lower pricing out there but, if there is, I haven't found it yet.

Anyone know where I can find ones with a frost top (no brand or labels) and true silver bottom?

Hey SirDAnte, I've bought True Silver discs from this place and they were quite affordable. I saw their auctions on Ebay and made an offer for similar pricing and they went for it. I think I paid $20 for 100 real silver/silver discs. They look like real cds and it's difficult to tell which side is top or bottom. Silver CDs

im not having any problems with them. I don't know the difference between good/bad. I only have a 16x burner....its a sad day when someone says that, but it has no problems on my lg 16x.

I personally don't know if there is any diff between generic and branded cdrs.

When you see silver/silver they are usually silver top and light green bottoms. If you want real silver look for True Silver, TruSilver or Diamond.
