Here's a fun one to think about. I was watching an Xbone vs PS4 review. The air coming out of the PS4 feels hotter therefore it must be releasing more heat to the room.

One would need to assume that a 100W light bulb releases more heat than a 1700W hair dryer. I can blow dry my hair without a problem, but I think kissing a light bulb would be quite painful. The light bulb is hotter so it must be releasing more energy than the hair dryer:'(
I mean it totally makes sense, it's just that it's based on a teetering stack of assumptions. It's really frustrating seeing people run off "common sense" rather than knowledge.
