Hey guys im looking for a general purpose printer (for papers and reports with minor pictures) for my dad's house

I currently have a HP 930C at my mom's and have had problems with a previous Canon and Epson printer so im willing to stay HP even tho i kno they are more expensive

I need this to have good text and graphics on plain crap white paper and i dont need a fancy professional photo printer

I'd like the cost to be around $100

Thanks for any help guys

The Canon 750 (preceded by some letter(s) that escape me now) was just reduced in price to around $100. and it will save you mucho dinero over the life of the printer in ink costs (easily refillable, separate ink tanks). Don't judge all Canons by one clinker...

I agree...

I just picked up the Canon S750 that Zepper is referring to, and love it for the $70 I paid for it at Staples. I think the deal is over ATM, but I am sure you could find it for less than $100.

It's amazing how cheap the Canon cartridges are compared to others like Epson or HP. I have seen the cartridges for the 750 available online for less than $4!
