$10 ups ground shipping... seems kinda steep... i think the outpost 50-pks for $14 with free shipping saves a buck or two... and those discs hold 658Mb...

They have spammed this forum before but I haven't heard back from anyone buying these... I think you're better off going to the Forsale/Trade forum and getting 100 12x *quality* CDRs from Untamo for $25.90 shipped.

I picked up the 100-pack of TDK's at Buy.com ($30 off $100 & Free Shipping). After TDK's Rebate, they should end up costing me around $15 (I forgot ebates 3%, back too).
The $30 off and free shipping made the deal very sweet :)
Now what am I going to do with all these CDR's? :Q

I have personally dealt with this company with some other CDRs. I think they were LEDAs. They were generic but I have not had a coaster yet and I have burnt about 25 of them. They seem pretty reliable to me. They shipped them pretty fast too.

http://www.gum.de/it/download/index.htm - I believe it can tell what type of dye was used in making the CD. It can also read in the manufacturing info that is on the disk. Make sure you run CDR id on a blank disk in your burner (not a reader, it won't work on almost all, if not all, plain cd drives).

Don't forget ... if you can find the TDK's that are packaged 2x50pk screwed together to make one 100pk - those are made by Taiyo Yuden! Top quality. Best deal on cdrs ever. At CompUSA that is.

I have these same cdr's and they seem fine.

I bought the 100 pk for $19 and was disappionted to find there was no free shipping for that special....crap!

So it was more like $26..

But I have been burning my .wav's at 4x with no problems, going to try 8x next.

My 2 cents
