I'm trying to find a decent/stable motherboard for under $100 that has usb 2.0, firewire, builtin audio and LAN. Since the P4 processors are still pretty expensive, I'll probably get an Athlon board with the via kt333 chipset. Is there a board out there now that supports the features that I'm looking for?

For AMD CPUs - go for the nForce2's - they should be available by month's end.

For P4 - got for the SiS648. I believe that they have all the features that you may be looking for.

The nForce2 seems very impressive but will any board with it actually cost under $100?

Check here for info on the nforce2. Sounds really neat, just hoping it will come out soon!
