Just got a $100GC from my fiance today (22 now)

but I don't know what to get for my system. I have the rig in my sig ATM. I did get a DFI NF3 250 also as I hate my current mother board hehe. So I 'll be putting that in soon and selling the Epox board.

So far I am thinking of getting an Audigy 2 ZS and a Logitech 510MX

I currently use the onboard sound on my mobo which is decent but wouldn't the Audigy really help off load some work from the CPU to get a few more FPS in games??? I mostly use a headset with a pic to play with though, to use team speak or ingame chat. My speakers a Logitehc 640Z's, they arn't high end but I really don't use them much anyways. So sound quality really isn't the issue here.

My current mouse is a MS Intelli Mouse. I love this mouse but it is like 4 years old now and I the MX510 is suppose to be excellent for gaming.

The rest of my system is pretty good I think and I really can't think of anything to do to it unless I were to do a major over haul which I don't have the money to do right now.

Any other ideas?

I love my MX 510. I now can't stand using a regular mouse when I'm at work.
I would get the mouse and save the rest for use on a new MB.

what speakers do you have? if they are even halfway decent, ditch the onboard and get a audigy.

Audigy ZS is like 85 bucks, so throw in an extra 20 and get the MX510 to go with it. I've got Z530s, which aren't even as good as yours, but they sound beautiful on the Audigy ZS.

I already have the new motherboard I just havn't put it in yet.

I have a Logitech Z-640's as speakers. They aren't great but they arn't bad. Like I said before I don't really use them I just use headphones so the quality doesn't matter all that much to me. I am more interested in it if it will give me a bit of a boost of performance in games.

it's only $67 if you get the oem version. i don't think $67 is enough to justify for a few more fps, which you most likely will not visually notice and especially if you use headphones most of the time.

Right the OEM ZS is 75 shipped and the mx510 is 45 shipped from Newegg. So I end up having to shell out 20 bucks in the end.

I would rather get the MX510 from a place like amazon cause its only 30 shipped there, and having 25 left for something at newegg.

Any ideas for this?

well, i think some ondoard audio decoders sap performance by pushing almost all duties ot the cpu(software type). you might actually get a perofrmance boost with a audigy. wotrth spendng the money if you have really drappy ship.(not sure if the lanparty is software decoding or full hardware[tests show a drop in cpu usage by about 10% from crappy onboard software deocders to a quality sound card])
