Okay, here's the picture?.my computer is in the basement and my great Sony TV on the second floor.
If I buy a geforce2 MX with a TV out?..will I be able to watch DVD on my TV?with a 100 feet wire?
Any lost of quality here? Any degradation of the signal? Or maybe it's impossible to find a 100 feet TV wire connector on this planet?

Well, that is pretty long.....

And you'll want to use an S-video connection, if possible, and S-video cables are not cheap. If you can even find one 100 feet long, it would probably be more than US$100. And I wouldn't recommend running composite video that far without shielded cable - again, probably quite expensive.

You might want to look into a wireless transmitter like the DVD-Anywhere from X-10. I have one and it works great, but I'm only transmitting about 50 feet, so I don't know how it would work over a longer distance. In my opinion, the quality is equal to composite video. This device costs about US$70.
