*EDIT*
I think Ive found a phone that for sure does work on CDMA, however, it is not listed as being carried by alltel. Im wondering if anyone of you guys know whether or not this phone will work on the Alltel network? Nokia 6265

*/end edit*

Ok, so Ive finally figured out which phone I want. According to the info Ive found it should be available in the US now. I use Alltell service, thats CDMA, and I will not be able to switch servies at the time.

The phone I want is called a LG Chocolate, its real model # is LG K800. Here's a link to the phone Ive found on EBAy, Freaking awesome phone .

Now that phone is GSM. As Ive said I read the phone was/is released in CDMA both in the US and Europe. I checked LGE.com and the phone is not listed on there at all. Even under the UK/European version of the site, yet I know for a fact its been released there.

So, SOMEONE FREAKING HELP ME. Im uber picky about what phone I want, and this is the first one Ive found that I really like and supposedly will work on the CDMA network. So help me out and you get $100 of not real money.

i don't see a question mark in your OP, so i'm not sure what you're asking for.
(In other words, what's the question?)

Help me find the LG Chocolate phone for sale, using CDMA for use in the United States?

I work at Alltel and we dont carry that phone. I would be really careful because you dont want to get stuck with a phone that wont work. That looks like it would be a GSM phone, and if it were CDMA or if we carried it, i would know. I would clarify and make sure that they mean CDMA. and even then, there are different types of CDMA. Verizon runs on CDMA for instance, but their phones are not compatible on Alltel's network obviously.

This phone was big marketing success in S.Korea because they named it chocolate phone.

I guess the shape and color of the phone can be associated with chocolate bar.

i am actually at work right now, and i cant find a thing on this phone, so you might be pwned. www.phonescoop.com is an awesome resource for phone's and everything about them BTW. aight where is my $100?haha

Well crap. Anyone know of a CDMA phone even close to that (excluding the kyocera slider remix) that works on Alltel?
