$100 digital camera?

CompGeeks has a $100 digicam, (sipix brand) 1.3 megapixels, 2x Digital Zoom, 8mb CF card, and 1.8" LCD. My question (being inexperienced with digital cameras) is that I've seen a lot of $100~200 digicams now in the megapixel range, but are they worth the money? (and if so, which one is the best value?) I bought the jamcam for $20 and I got what i paid for. It's fine for playing around with, but I want something with better quality. (something that will replace my aging 35mm) I wish anand reviewed these things....

Anyone have any good advice or links?

A 100 dollar digicam has no hope of matching any half decent film camera in terms of quality and features. Don't even mention image quality.

Digital cameras are very expensive for ones that can conceivably replace a decent film camera for most uses. Expect to pay atleast 300+.

I would recommend saving that money towards a better one, or simply waiting a few more years, since the prices are rapidly falling.
