100 days left until my baby is born

100 Days and counting and then I am officially a dad.

Scary thing is, that we still have yet to decide on a name. My wife has picked out like 1000 and I hate them all. Since we are NOT finding out the sex, it makes it that much harder because I (we) have to decide on 2 of them.

arrgh.

Yea, my fiance and I were talking about baby names the other day. Unfortunately, the two names she wants for a girl (she really wants a girl) are pron star names! LOL ... i dont know if I can call my daughter Brianna or Jenna knowing that they'll remind me of a pron star.

any ideas as to what your wife likes? what about you, what do you NOT like?
Old fashioned names, weird names, usual names? what?
do you like names that mean soemthing? what about any family names that you could like?

I'm so happy that somewhere along my dad's line someone was smart and started using their first name as the middle name for the firstborn boy. It's going to save some trouble when the time comes.

We are a bit over 100 days out, but we found out it's a boy. Since we know the sex, we have started a list of names that we each like and will combine it into one list of names we both like.

We're due in about 50 days or so and we don't have anything picked out yet either. No big rush since we aren't telling anyone anyway, but maybe she she's born a name will just pop in to our heads. We're tossing some things around but haven't narrowed it down very fat yet.

You haven't told anyone your wife is 7 months pregnant and no one can tell for themselves?! She must be hiding the weight very very well.

Get a baby name book and take a pen and mark out all the names you hate (by yourself), and have her do the same. Get one with a billion names in it. Don't mark out names you can live with, but aren't crazy about, just the ones you can't stand. When you're both done, start talking and go over what's left.

lol we have one of those.. Just to get through the A's alone would take like 7 days. I dont want to be racist, but I wish you could buy a "Normal White People Names" book because I am not going to name my baby Pham or Laquisha. They could then publish "Normal Asian People Names" and "Normal Black People Names" and I would be fine with it.
