100% CPU Usage

I need to know if this characterises a virus. 100% cpu usage at all times, even idle. I have 512 MB RAM
I reinstalled windows and nothing changed.
Any suggestions?
 
Do you have CPU Cool or the like running in the background? Check Ctrl Alt Delete and see what's using the CPU if in WinXP
 
do a cntrl alt delete and see whats going on . Also google for spybot get and run that and get your anti virus software uodated and run that.Spybot has an immunize feature that can stop this from reoccuring.
 
If it's System Idle Process taking 100% then there's gonna be some bitch-slappin' around here 😀

j/k, what process is taking all that time?
