Haven't posted in ages. Got asked by a Charity that volunteer for if I'd run the Boston Marathon and of course, I couldn't say no even though I've missed out on two months of training and hadn't been running very much as I've been dealing with a back issue.

12, 15, 18, 13 and this weekend ran in the NYC Half Marathon for another 13

It was pretty cool running thru Times Square, so I had to stop and take a pic:

Very cool!

+122 miles for March. A down month due to illness and post-marathon recovery. But at least I ran another sub 3:30! I'm happy with that.

Hobbling to the Finish Line tomorrow. Hip is throbbing and had xrays this week. No stress fracture from the xrays so they wanted me to do a MRI. Told them, after the marathon.

Last weekend - last long run of 8 miles and a 5k race
This weekend - BAA 5k at 23:24(pretty good for being hobbled)

Monday - Boston Marathon

27 miles this week. It turns out suburban Detroit has a ton of really nice running paths. It makes me a little jealous, but I am taking advantage of them while I can.

Monday - Boston Marathon 26.2 miles

Absolutely miserable conditions - rain, 40 degrees with a 25mph headwind

My feet were numb by mile 5 and even with only 2 months of training and three different injuries, I was 2:04 at 13.1 but turning at the Fire House and going up the hills, my knee started locking-up. Forcing me to stop then walk til it unlocked before I could run again and within 1/4 mile it would lock up again. My time and psyche were killed from it.

Brought extra set of gloves but even changing them at the half way mark, my hands were still numb. After passing BC, I wanted to digest some Cliffshot Blocks but I couldn't open it and had to stop to ask a police officer to open the package for me.

After crossing the Finish Line, my legs completely tightened up and it took me a hour in the pouring rain to get to my Team's Watch Party. Once, I got a chance to change out of my wet clothes and warm up, my legs felt so much better.

Well, another Boston Marathon in the books.
