6 miles last night. First time I have been able to run since my 10k last weekend. I pushed it a little too hard and angered my IT band again.

2 years without an injury and then today, my left IT band acted up. Only managed 4 miles and had to limp the last 1/2. Got the neighborhood turkey trot coming up and I have to defend my title!

Get working on the foam roller, it seems to help with mine quite a bit. IT Band pain is a bitch to get rid of.

5.3 miles this morning. Was 18F with wind chill of 4F when I started running. Cold weather gear checked out perfectly fine, was actually a bit sweaty around my chest, but legs were cold, gonna have to find a better kind of pants and/or layer. Honestly it was shockingly take your breath away cold this morning. It's not usually like this until January around here.

Well 2nd training marathon in 2 weeks as my training peaks. This time on the Potawatomi-Waterloo trail the whole way. Again very cold. 25F most of the day with wind chills in the teens. 2500 feet of elevation change. I'm exhausted and heading home for a hot shower to warm up.

Nice job. I can't imagine what it must feel like to run 26 miles straight through. Kudos on doing it twice in two weeks.

Believe me there was not running all the way through!! Definitely walked pretty much every uphill but yeah still not easy. Legs in general don't feel too bad today, rest today then run again Wednesday and Thursday.

5 miles today on mixed trails with my new Merrell Ascend Gloves. Felt good, kept my pace at 9:30 per mile. Legs feel decent after Mondays trail marathon.

3.1 this morning at the turkey trot. Successfully defended my title and remained the fastest in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, my left IT band is killing me now.
