Good luck Capt, you are running the biggun of the road world.

I just did 5.2 miles along the lake in my new Altra Instinct 1.5s. I've been running in zero drop trail shoes for a year now so this is not a huge transition for me, but I will say it is different doing zero drop on trails and on roads. Gonna work my way up again. The good news is that my recovery from the 50 seems to be going well which is good as I have 6 months to get ready for my 100.

14 miles at the Citrus Tract of the Withlacoochee State Forest with my running club. The trails there are the best I've seen yet here in Florida. Parts of it I could have sworn I was in NY. Great run, longest since the 50.

+3.4 of run/walk. I'm trying to taper for my trail race Sunday but my right knee keeps nagging me on runs. More aggressive RICE tonight and hoping to do alternative cardio as well.
