If I'd known you were so close to Orlando, I'd have said hi! I just got in from Disney last night. Great weather you all are having. Back home in VA, we're looking at upper 30's and a winter storm warning this evening. I'm missing Florida already! Anyway, the Goofy Challenge is done!

+13(.1) on Sat.
+26(.2) on Sun.

And congrats to Scorch on the PR! Nice work! You're right, a PR is a PR! I'll take one any day. 🙂
Maybe next time then. I'm planning on doing the Goofy Challenge next year, will you be returning in '14? And congrats on finishing the Challenge.

Scorch - you are amazing dude. Good job on the PR, you run a 10K faster than many do a 5K. Wow...

7 miles this morning in my new M890v2s. Tempo pacing felt great, new shoes were just what the doctor ordered.

Maybe. I'd certainly like to do it again, but you know how it is with kids - it's hard to make definite plans, especially so far out.

And congrats on finishing the Challenge.

Thanks. It was surprisingly easy, mostly because I did it more at training pace and didn't try to "race" either run. Plus, running with my brother and a cool guy from Texas we met in the corral really helped the time pass quickly.

Another 44 miles for me. Did 18 in 25-60mph winds today; that was an adventure!

Cue Beavis and Butthead voices: "Heh, heh, you got blown hard!"

Got into Jacksonville earlier today. Did 10K through University of North Florida's campus. It's flat down here.

Jax is pretty flat. Clermont/Tallahassee are the two primary exceptions to Florida's flatness. But even then it's pretty flat compared to upstate NY where I used to live. I DO miss the hills.
