100,000 miles for AT

Began a new running routine today. 5 weekdays, 5 miles per day. Then a long run on the weekend. Slow buildup to 70 miles per week eventually. So 5 miles today.

wow, I take ineptitude to a new level. Good thing I have a team of spotters to check my math skills. 😛 Anyway, I did 3 this am and 7.5 this pm. Will round down to 10 - 3404

BTW, Mega, 70mpw? That's a sick goal! Just be smart about it and you'll do it. If you see the same improvements that I did with high mileage you'll be running like a Kenyan in no time! 😀
 
4 today for me, quick. Starting to focus on shorter distances with an increase of speed. I'll probably be doing 30-35mpw for the summer with my pace runs hopefully approaching 6mi @5:20.

If I handle that I'll start rebuilding my base for Boston with more speed under me.

What can I say, I have a dream to do an offroad marathon this year. Perhaps next year I'll do an ultra. All if I can get my legs to cooperate.

50 miler or 50K? 50K isn't that much more...I'd like to do one just to say I did an ultra. 🙂

Either. And would be awesome to be able to say you completed an Ultramarathon wouldn't it?

I didn't get to run today, I got home from work at almost 7. I just got done eating, by the time it digests it'll be too late. 🙁 I'll make up for it tomorrow, I hope...
