I should have looked at this thread much earlier. I was up to an occasional power walk of 8 miles back in the summer with a minimum of 5 miles per night then. Right now, lucky to get 2.5miles on the treadmill every other night. I assume the 4 mile per hour walk that I do with a 12 degree incline is acceptable. I'll do more once I get into the new year.

2.5 miles on the 18th and 2.5 miles tonight = 5 miles.

(Don't laugh at my small two miles...it's helped me take and keep 60 pounds off during the last 1.5 years) ;)

Engineer - any mileage is worthwhile!

For me:
Tues - 8.75 mi
Wed - 11.25 mi

And I'm done. My physio diagnosed a ridiculously tight TFL, glute and hip flexor which I need to rest and stretch in order to loosen up (well, some new stretches in addition to the ones I've been doing). No running for at least a week :(.

Time to rest up and get fat I guess LOL. Merry Christmas everyone!

Ahhh, I feel good right now. Just got back from a swift 6 mile trail run. My first snowy trail run - it was surreal and one of those times I'll remember for a long, long time. I'm glad my son was with me.

Got out on the trails again today. The snow was 2 or 3 inches deeper than last time and it was a hell of a run, almost like doing a technical trail. My legs ache, my balls ache, and I'm putting off heat like an oven once again. It's great to be back at it.

+11.5, rounding down to 11 of course.

Since the last time I posted, I have done 68 miles. Nice run Mega, although you messed me up with the total there :p

another 6 today. -8 windchill; decided to wear pants for the first time this winter. Didn't feel too bad, although running into the wind was decidedly not pleasant. Got a pretty sweet beardsicle though; might have to grow a neckbeard to keep my throat warm this winter!

The temp. dropped like a rock here today. I was hoping for another longish trail run tomorrow but it may get abbreviated. I'm still a wuss when it comes to the cold.

51k for me this week :) The cold and snow is getting worse, but I've been running a lot with my dad which helps a lot.
