City 5K this morning.

24:30 which is my PR since getting back into running (took 20 years off lol) so I am happy.

Nice job, especially in these temps! It's getting brutal out there!

6 miles this morning. Was hoping to do a bit more but my IT band had other ideas. This seems to be an unfortunate pattern for me.

Visiting your son? Or just looking for a cooler spot to run? ;)

Heat+humidity=ugh.

It's been a family reunion visit. All 3 of my children and my granddaughter are here. And it's not been any cooler or less humid to be honest - bummer. 5 miles done slow and easy, still sopping wet when I was done.

3.1 miles to kick off the week. Just checked my mileage for the year to date. I'm about 30% off from last year. Blame cycling.

Damn heat/humidity again. Really hoping that for my first trail half marathon on Aug 3rd the weather isn't like this.

Too bad the weather isn't better, but we definitely have a ton of humidity here on the East Coast. At least some of the parks down there are nice, and you can get in some trail runs. I just hope your state is not as humid when I'm down there in October for a 10-miler I'm doing with my nephew and brother-in-law.

Despite it being 80 degrees with 88% humidity @8am!!! I managed to knock out a PR for a 4 mile run. 36:00. Ever so slowly I'm getting faster.

Found a new race to train for, and it's free. 40 mile point-to-point event from Tarpon Srings to St. Petersburg on the Pinellas Trail. Entirely self-supported but it is urban/suburban so there is lots of built-in aid along the way. This is a new and very cool type of event for me. It's going to be held in September so it's going to be hot and humid. I can't wait.

Just started running again last week. It sure feels good getting out there in the early morning and getting myself back in shape.

+50 for me. Did two workouts this past week: Sunday was a 12-mile run with 60 minutes of fartlek and today I did 8x 1000m at cruise interval pace and 4x 400m at mile pace. It's funny how a 400 at 5:00 pace can feel so much longer than a 1000 at 5:40 pace!
