This is what I'm afraid will happen when I try to run tonight. But a bad run is better than no run, right?

3 miles of lactic acid threshold training.

Was 4 minutes all out running then 1 minute each of crunches, walking lunges, burpees and side lunges then repeat all that times 5.

Cold water soak here I come.

Supposed to be gettin 2 feet of snow Friday - Saturday. No idea what I'm going to do for a long run this weekend. Possibly run on the treadmill and do 10 miles on Sat and another 10 on Sun. Argh.

Too tried from shoveling to run yesterday which would have been on a treadmill. Going to go out in a little bit to snowshoe and I'll see what the running/bike paths are like along the river. They usually get cleared very well but not sure if they're done yet. No long run for me this weekend.

+ 234 for me. Been averaging 75+ mpw for a while now, and feeling pretty strong. Ran 21 miles today in single-digit temps, and felt amazing! Finished with a 6:39 and a 6:23, and an epic beardsicle. Good times.

Scorch is my hero, but he's so cool he came out to cheer me and my son on at our first trail ultra. I'd say he qualifies as at least regional elite. No joke.

Only 5k today. Shoveling snow and snow shoeing exhausted me this weekend.
