Rebate is now $10 off from July 1st - 4th on each gallon of Behr paint. So, the PVC Primer/Sealer is -$0.03 (free) AR, or about $9 for interior (over 50% off).

Behr is hot for painting on DIY projector screens. AVS Forum has some nice threads like this about it.

Just got back from HD B&M - bought a gallon of Behr Silverscreen, 770E-2 :)

They have a stack of rebates at the paint counter and give you one when they mix your paint. My paint cost $17.97 before tax, so with the $10 mir it's only $7.97. Home theater DIY screen, here I come!

Thanks a lot, 3ng1n33r! Perfect timing! :D

OMG! LOL. I was planning for a week to go to HD tonight and get some Behr paint for the outside of our house which we're repainting. Last time we painted a couple years ago they had the same deal and I was thinking about that deal and how sweet it would be if it was available again. I even mentioned it to my wife a couple days ago. Ironic and spooky.

behr is excellent paint. Expensive, but real good. I've used the expensive American Tradition stuff from Lowes and it doesn't touch this behr stuff. Goes on smooth and without a ton of smell.
Top rated in consumer reports as well if their recommendations mean anything to ya.
Looks like there is no limit to the number of gallons you can apply this rebate to.
Thanks to the OP.

Rebate

What is the PVC primer/sealer - is it for PVC plastic?

Some people have exposed PVC pipe for their irrigation and they like to paint it to match iron pipes or the house or shrubbery or something. Not sure why you'd have it indoor though. :shrug;

I don't see anything like that on the Behr web site. Any more details? Anybody bought it and/or confirmed the price?

Here's the PDF

Man, jump all over me. I knew there was a reason why I stayed away from this board for so long.

I was referring to the PVC primer/sealer.

Yah, like your comment was good-natured. After my absence, I still see no reason to visit here...

Yeah I did, see my post way up above. They give you a rebate at the paint counter. Great deal...it will be like $8 after I get the rebate back. I decided the other day to build a projector screen myself and Behr Silverscreen is one of the recommended paints.

The Behr website has it on the front page, on the lower left-middle, big button. They must not have had it up when you looked. Apparently they were having a $5 off rebate before; all the little promo posters had $5 crossed out and $10 marked on. They have a stack of rebates at the paint counter.

I believe you can buy as much as you want, because the rebate says "with the purchase of each gallon-sized can of BEHR Paints..." and in tiny print at the bottom it says "individual The Home Depot store locations reserve the right to limit purchase quantity by visit."

I may purchase some more tomorrow...there are a few other mixes I like. ;)
