Question number 6: Mr. Clarke, when Al-Qaeda attacked the USS Cole in 2000, what advice did you give President Clinton for striking back at them?

Question number 7: Mr. Clarke, when Al-Qaeda attacked the two U.S. embassies in North Africa, weren't you one of the experts who advised Clinton to bomb the pharmaceutical factory in Sudan?

Question number 8: Mr. Clarke, when Clinton was slashing the defense budget in the face of these Al-Qaeda attacks, did you advise him against it?

Question number 9: Mr. Clarke, when Clinton undermined the CIA in the face of all these takers, did you advise him against doing that?

Question number 10: Mr. Clarke, isn't it true that you and your colleagues in the Clinton administration generally were complete and miserable failures in defending this nation for eight years, and isn't it a little weak of you to now come forward and say that what Bush didn't do in the first nine months of his term, is pathetic?

sorry I keep forgetting to put everything through my 'J.foragainst.K 2004 Nuancer'. It arrived last week but I don't seem to be able to put it together. The instructions say to turn things left and then turn the same thing right so it just falls apart if I let go.

Isn't this thread and Rush's "10 Questions" basically doing the same thing you're complaining about: attacking the source instead of addressing the issue? In response to Clarke's allegations Rush is basically trying to attack Clarke's credibility aka attacking the source. The other response I remember seeing is attacking Clarke as a partisan- I think from another thread around here or some public spokesperson on TV. Can we just dismiss Rush's questions as being 'too partisan?'

BTW: again with the liberal media... did you go to Costco to stock up on some bulk tin foil?

When did Sudan directly offer bin Laden to the U.S.? They offered him to Saudi Arabia in exchange for Saudi Arabia giving him a full pardon. The Saudis did not want bin Laden back in their country, though.

BTW, Rush is a hypocrite. Decrying drug users as scum but abusing pain pills himself. Pot, kettle. Kettle, pot. He toes the Republican Party line no matter how wrong it may be.

BTW - you are highly misinformed about Rush - you can't put context to any statement you claim makes him a hypocrit. Also - he does not tow the party line - he pushes Conservatism - not Republicanism.
