Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on what our problem may be and how we may fix it.
My friends laptop has never been connected to the net and it's only used for media and ms office.
Lately it has been taking up to 15 minutes to load windows after it's turn it on. Also when he tries to play music through media player the song breaks up and sounds horrible.
I checked the CPU load when it was idleing and it was jumping between 95% and 100%.
I also checked to see if there were any abnormal procceses hogging teh resources and nothing looked out of place. (looked fine to me.. 2 or 3 20,000K and the rest around 3,000K
Its an intel celron M
512 DDR2
AVG and adaware has picked nothing up (as i would expect seeings as it's never been online or had any dodgey software installed)
the devices are working fine according to the hardware manager.
has any got any ideas on what the problem may be before he goes and formats?
If so how can we fix it?
Thanks for any help 😀
